The following declarations apply exclusively to the internord digital magazine issued by TÜV NORD AG at internord.tuev-nord-group.com, but not to companies that refer to our website via a link or to companies to whose websites we refer via a link.
When you use our digital magazine, only anonymised personal data on user behaviour are collected. Collection and storage of personal data as well as the nature and purpose of their use
Server log files
When you access our website, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.). This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:
IP address of the accessing terminal,
Date and time of access,
Name and URL of the retrieved file,
Website from which the site is accessed (referrer URL),
Browser type used, browser version used and, if applicable, the operating system of your device and the
name of your Internet service provider. The aforementioned data are processed by us to ensure ease of connection to, and use of, our website, to evaluate system security and stability and for other administrative purposes. TÜV NORD AG does not use the aforementioned data to draw conclusions about your person.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the data collection purposes listed above.
Matomo
Our website uses Matomo, a web analysis service.
Matomo uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable us to analyse your use of the website. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your abbreviated, anonymised IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes to help us optimise the website. Your IP address will be anonymised immediately during this process, so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will not be passed on to third parties.
